Hammerin Hank is a veteran DJ and media personality whose passion for music and
broadcasting has made him a recognizable voice in the Bay Area and beyond. From spinning
tracks to hosting his own television and radio shows, Hank brings energy, humor, and heart to
every stage he steps on.
As the creator and host of The Hammerin Hank Music Video Show (2002–2009), Hank
showcased artists from Pop to Heavy Metal on Comcast Cable Channels 27 and 29 in Fremont
and Newark, California. His show became a local favorite for its diverse lineup, artist interviews,
and Hank’s down-to-earth charisma.
Beyond TV, Hammerin Hank has rocked the airwaves on various radio programs—including
The Doghouse—where he interviewed guests ranging from musicians to authors, including a
memorable 2001 chat with a ghost-hunting author.
Most recently, he co-hosts The Hammerin Hank Show podcast with Ryan Hoppe, delivering
sharp takes, music commentary, and real conversations—always signing off with his signature
phrase: “Peace in your hood.”
From the studio to live stages, including his performance of the National Anthem at a Modesto
Nuts baseball game, Hammerin Hank continues to represent the soul of independent music and
local entertainment.
The Hammerin’ Hank Show with Henry Ochs and Ryan Hoppe
Real. Raw. Ridiculous. Radio energy in podcast form.
Step into a world where honesty swings harder than a hammer. Hosted by Henry “Hammerin’
Hank” Ochs and radio personality Ryan Hoppe, this show brings you unfiltered conversations,
off-the-wall takes, and the kind of chemistry only two passionate misfits of media could deliver.
From outrageous stories and unpredictable rants to deep dives into pop culture, sports, music,
news, and everyday life—no topic is too wild or too weird. Hank’s high-energy, no-BS attitude
collides perfectly with Hoppe’s sharp humor, radio instincts, and fearless authenticity.
Whether you’re here to laugh, think, or just escape the noise, The Hammerin’ Hank Show is
your new favorite ride—equal parts chaos, comedy, and heart.
